Coeliac disease is a permanent disease of the small intestines. It can include symptoms like cramping, bloating and digestive problems. Weight can go up or down and can include tiredness and mouth ulcers, bloating with fluid retention, thyroid problems and depression.

While the listed problems receive all the attention they are not dealing with the issue and in a lot of cases it is not detected.  Biopsies are the normal test of the mucous of the small intestines. Death Bed Regrets

This comes from Meditations .com.  I think that most of you reading this will be in reasonably good health but not too busy to consider the regrets some people have at the end of their lives as recorded by a palliative care nurse. The five most common regrets are

1. I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself not the life others expected of me. 

This was the most common regret.  When people come to realise their life is almost over and they look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. A lot of people dont honour their dreams and they die knowing they could have made better choices. From the moment you lose your health it is too late.   Health brings a freedom few realise

2. I wish I didnt work so Hard

More male patients have this regret. All the men deeply regretted having spent so much time on the treadmill of work. By simplifying your life you probably wont need the income you think you need by making some conscious different choices along the way.  This way you open up more space time and eventual happiness more suited to your different lifestyle,

3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings

Many suppress their feelings to keep the peace with other people, settling for a mediocre existence. As a result people develop illness as a result of bitterness and resentment.  Although people may initially react to you when you first speak your truth it will usually raise the relationship to a whole new level.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends

Often in their dying weeks they regret and realise the true benefit of old friends which often they are unable to track down.  In a busy lifestyle it is easy to let friendships slip.   Many regret not giving their friendship the time and effort they deserve. In the end it all comes down to love and relationships.  This is the only thing that remains in the final weeks love and relationships.

5. I wish I had let myself be happier

This is a very common one. They stayed stuck in old patterns which stopped them being happier than they could have been. This comfort of familiarity of bad patterns flowed over into their lives and health. There was fear of change wehen deep down they longed to laugh properly and have silliness int heir lives again.  How wonderful it is to be able to to let go and smile again long before you are dying.

Life is a Choice it is Your Life.  Choose consciously, wisely, choose honestly, and choose happiness.

I take it most of you are not at the Palliative care level so now you can make better choices before you arrive at regretful stage at the end of your life learning from those who have gone before us.

Well there are many things we do with our eating and lifestyle habits which are not considered healthy for us. Here is a list of don’ts if you want to keep healthy and the proper weight.

  1. Sugar of any kind, sweets chocolate, soft drinks, beer, confectioneryand ICE CREAM

Rheumatoid Arthritis


We talked about this inflammation factor last time but it is present in a lot of illnesses so here is a more direct approach to the inflammation problem and a food one also.

I have purposely coloured the heading in red as that is the colour of inflammation especially obvious in the hands if these joints are affected.  One of the markers of Arthritis is the inflammation factor which if you happen to have it in your feet as I did it can really slow you down and stop you living the life you used to know.  The other factor measured medically is the Arthritic factor but by far the inflammation factor is the thing that doctors go by.

Here is a smoothie you can try out which is a food smoothie which will have the same effect as the anti inflammatory medication without any side effects.  Trials on this food are very promising.  Try it your self. After all its only food. It takes sbout 5 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • one inch of fresh ginger grated
  • one inch of fresh turmeric grated
  • handful of baby spinach
  • handful of watercress
  • one small soft abvocado
  • half a capscum
  • big handful of flat leafed parsley and or coriander
  • one cup of filtered water
  • Big bunch of cayenne
  • Pinch of salt.

Blend it all togetherand drink it down. Do it twice a day until inflammation disappears. Continue after a few weeks from when the inflammation has gone to be sure.  Its not a problem when you get into it. Its also good to avoid Dairy products which includes ice cream and cheese. Also avoid wheat and yeast products. ( White bread and alcoholic drinks with yeast).  Let me know if you are trying this and the results in time.

On top of all this exercise is of paramount importance to keep the joints moving even if it is difficult at present. Do what you can.

The combination can show results if you persist. Don’t give up early on yourself.  3 to 6 months would be a good period to try it.  If you are having small gains then keep going.  You have nothing to lose by trying.

Inflamation the source of illness

Indications of illness comes in many forms of warning signs to the body.  Some have symptoms which you can feel but others have no symptoms.  There is over acidity, high oxidation, high homocysteine, low enzyme activity, poor adrenal function and low thyroid function, poor oxygenation, low immunity and of course the obvious one pain to mention but a few.   Many signs come and go again when the problem has been resolved.  Lots of illness’s are a slow build up of the symptoms mentioned and they dont go away. 

The answer is of course to take an ant-acid, pain killes or other symptoms killing pharmaceutical.  As we know this gives temporary relief while waiting to discover what the root cause of the problem is.  In many many cases the root cause is never determined.

Disease can take a long time to manifest or sometimes a short time if infectious cases.  However the build up is happening inside often with no outward symptoms until it is too late.   This can come about through poor diet and life style eventually leading to hospital and operations etc.  This is when we are in emergency state of treatment.

One of the things you can do for yourself without medical bills is look at what you are eating.  The internet is full of good information about what is good for you to eat and what is not.

Treating pain  can be as simple as including certain foods in your diet.  The following foods are known pain relievers. The best options are avocado, Banana,berries, cabbage. cucumber, figs, mango and melon.  I would eat at least 5 of these per day every day.

Shock can cause serious illness

A gynecologist in Europe had a son called Dirk Hammer who was docked on a yacht in a bay on the Mediterranean.  The doctor sat by his side over the next 6 weeks when eh died at 25yrs of age.  Within 12 months the doctor developed prostate cancer.  He put this down to the shock he received when his son was shot suddenly and unexpectedly some months before.  He decided to test his theory so he interviewed 100 women who had cancer of the cervix or breast cancer. 

After extensive interviews he discovered that 99 out of the first hundred patients he tested who had cervical or breast cancer had a serious shock or trauma in their life within 12 months of receiving the shock.  He even produced x rays from the top of the head showing ripples in the brain from the shock.  He went to a medical conference and lots of other doctors brought along the x-rays from the top of the head of their sick patients with serious illness.  Dr Hammer was able to tell each one exactly where the cancer was in the body of the patient from just seeing the x rays. 

All the Doctors were astounded and saw this as a new discovery in medicine.  He was really elated over his new findings until he returned to his hospital after the weekend and was called before the board who advised him to desist from preaching a heresy.  The good doctor believed he could save people from further pain through his knowledge of what he had discovered.  He was advised to stop or there would be consequences and he may lose his job.  He quit and continue to talk with patients about his discovery.

The authorities approached him about practicing out side his medical license and he was prosecuted and they succeeding in taking away his medical license.  He continued to consult with patients and was this time prosecuted for practicing without a license and received 18 months in prison during which time he wrote two books which were published on his release.  Now close medical friends continue to spread the word as they knew this was a new discovery.

Early this century his colleagues traveled Europe and further afield teaching what they called the New Medicine. They produced charts and books supporting his theory.

I attended lectures both years in Dublin.  Now in Kinesiology we have the means to release Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the bodies of clients in just one session which of course can divert illness and even relieve the mind and body in the process allowing the person to return to full health.

One such patient came to me to who suffered greatly from Rheumatoid Arthritis.  This is know as an auto immune disease which means the body turns on itself.  The consultation showed a major stress in his body form a false accusation.  This resulted in him having to leave his work after 30 years and the consequent mental trauma.  I happened upon him by accident and offered to help him.  Within the first treatment he was relieved of the Trauma and shock to his system.  I subsequently dealt with his Arthritis by means of the Mayo Clinic Cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis.   He had to take this each day for a number of months to get rid of his swelling and pain.  He was on medication for the pain but only dealt with symptoms rather than treating the cause.

Over twelve months on this man has fully recovered from his Trauma and is back at wrk stress free and no sign of his arthritis.  His doctor has confirmed his inflammation factor is almost nil in his blood and he is not concerned about his arthritis at this point.

This is one of many cases dealt with at the Clinic and is worth considering if you or a loved one has a serious illness at this point.  I cant say its a miracle cure but it can help to take away the cause of the illness and thereby make treatment either medical or alternative to have a much better effect.

So watch out for those car accidents, falls at home, witness to trauma, or other serious occurrence which is suddene and unexpected.
